Lampkin: Ask Your Screenshots · for iPhone

Ask your photos and screenshots in your own words.

Lampkin looks through your library and answers with the actual shots, quoting the part that answers you. Everything Lampkin sees stays on your iPhone: no account, no cloud AI.

Asked

the recipe with lentils I saved

Illustration of a search across a library of shots. Not a screenshot of the app.

01 / Ask

Say what you remember about it

You rarely remember where you saved something, but you usually remember what it was. Ask the way you would ask a friend who had seen your phone:

  • the boarding pass for Lisbon
  • how much was the dentist in March
  • the recipe with lentils I saved

02 / Answer

It shows you the shot, so you can check

Lampkin answers with the shots it found, highlighted, and quotes what they say. You never have to take its word for it: the source is right there, one tap away from the full image.

Answers are generated by an on-device AI model and can be wrong. Check the source screenshots.

Asked

the Wi-Fi password from the hotel

Answer

The card from the hotel says “Password: harbour-4521”. 1 shot

Illustrative example. Lampkin answers with a quote from your shot and shows the shot it came from.

What you can do with it

  1. Answers with their sources

Ask about your photos and screenshots in plain words. Every answer shows the highlighted shots it came from.

  2. Find, count, total

Ask for one shot, or ask how many receipts you saved in May and what they add up to. Follow up in the same chat.

  3. Library and Topics

Browse everything that is ready to search, all together or in topics that Lampkin keeps up to date by itself.

  4. Around this time

From any shot, jump to that moment in your library and see what else you saved then.

  5. Chats on your iPhone

Your conversations with Lampkin are kept on the device, so you can return to an earlier question.

  6. Share the find

Send the highlighted shots with a short text through the iOS share sheet, to whoever you choose.

  7. Spotlight and Siri

Ask Lampkin from Spotlight, or from Siri with App Shortcuts.

  8. Twelve languages

The interface is available in 12 languages.

04 / On the device

It all runs on your iPhone

Lampkin uses an AI trained for your screenshots and photos. It looks at your library only with your permission, and only on the phone, so your photos, questions and answers never go to a server. Once set up, it works in Airplane Mode.

The models
Lampkin's on-device AI models (about 4 GB) are delivered by the App Store with the app, from Apple's servers, during installation. Lampkin itself sends nothing. Wi-Fi is recommended.
After that
Search and answers work offline.
Getting ready
Lampkin gets your newest photos ready to search first, so you can start asking within minutes. New photos become searchable as they arrive, in the background while your iPhone is charging, when iOS allows.
Requires
iOS 26 and an iPhone with enough memory for on-device AI. The supported models will be listed on the Support page before release.

05 / Lampkin Pro

Two weeks free, then Lampkin Pro

Searching and chatting in Lampkin require Lampkin Pro; the yearly plan starts with a 2-week free trial for eligible new subscribers. Lampkin Pro keeps your whole library searchable as new photos arrive and includes any updates we release.

Plans
Lampkin Pro: yearly with a 2-week free trial, monthly, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.
Billing
The price and billing period are shown in the App Store before you confirm. Billed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in iPhone Settings. See the Terms.

06 / Privacy

No account, no cloud AI, no tracking

  1. We collect nothing

Your photos, questions and answers are never sent to us, and the app shares nothing with third parties.

  2. It stays here

What Lampkin needs for search, your chats and your settings live in Lampkin's own storage on your iPhone, and in your iPhone's own backup if you have backups on. Deleting the app removes them from your iPhone.

  3. You decide what to share

Shots leave the phone only when you share them yourself, through the share sheet.
